Healing Artists of the Sacramento Regions - Authentic Thai Massage with Master Pen Si Nawichian |
![]() |
Thai massage is a prayer to the Buddha. Pen Si Nawichian (pronounced Pen See), born and raised in Thailand, has been performing Thai massage for over a quarter of a century. She earned her certification in Bangkok in 1979, then traveled to Malaysia for four years to study with a master. "I learned Thai Massage from a man who was blind and I learned so much from him about seeing without using the eyes. Then I worked in a place where 40 people would receive Thai Massage at the same time in a great big room with all windows and doors open and all the Thai people talking. "Now, I have a nice room in Midtown decorated to look like Thailand. Very nice, very quiet". This therapeutic technique combines stretching, muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure. PenSi use her hands, knees, elbows, and feet, to move you into a series of gentle yoga-like stretches. It is described as both relaxing and energizing and is done on a very comfortable pad on the floor, fully clothed. "People who have never had a Thai Massage are often surprised with the experience and how they feel so good. In Thailand, the Doctor will tell you...go get Thai Massage...here they say "take a pill." I see what you need (like blind man could see) and assist you in nice stretch for the whole body, reflexology, and lots of hot herbal towels. Never same, come see." RATES: 1 hour - $70, 1.5 hrs- $100, 2 hrs- $135.
