Imagine a place that's not very far from Sacramento in miles, and offers a magical environment apart from our hustle and bustle lives. Karene Piccolo has created just such a place and her fondest wish is to share it with others on the path of peace and understanding.

Piccolo Pastures is a perfect place for small retreats of up to 14 people. There is plenty of room for quiet walks on the 20 acre farm, and the Ecumenical Garden was designed for meditation and group spirit circles. Animals, both tame and wild, and gardens dot the farm. Inside offers the Africa Room, the Tropical Room and the Native American room for meeting and gathering. Both the kitchen and the crafts room provide plenty of space to share food and fun.

With a lifetime of experience as a school teacher, Karene is adept at managing the group experience. She welcomes you to call, or come for a visit to discuss your upcoming workshop.

Piccolo Pastures was enchanting, inviting and the perfect setting for a "Renewal Ceremony" with my Women's Group. Karene's support and enthusiasm made all of us feel welcome and very much at home.
